Pablo Laso and Sergio Rdoriguez shared their views on the clash with Gescrap Bizkaia with the media.

“I wish to congratulate my team for their constant efforts throughout the game. We didn’t lose any of the quarters, which means we gave a regular performance despite the usual ups and downs teams have during an encounter. We were solid in defence and conceded few easy shots. We set the pace to the game when we felt comfortable in defence.”

“It’s important that everyone helps out. I always say this. We have a large roster. Some of my men fared better than others in offence, but they all worked hard for the victory.”

“I always see danger in a game regardless of the score because we face solid players capable of scoring from different positions. We lost intensity at points and made fouls, but we resolved this, which means we’re psychologically tough. We withstood a harsh run against us. I was confident we would keep up the good work.”

“Points are important in a tight group like the one we’re in. I still think we must focus on one game at a time, but it was necessary for us to keep focus because Bilbao are a very good team.”

“Begic is having a fantastic season and he hardly played last year. He returned from the EuroBasket in top form and helped at the start of the campaign. The team never lost faith in him. My men have been together for quite some time now and they know what each can bring to the team. Begic always helps. I’m happy for him. I don’t lose faith in any of my men and I think Mirza is going to give us more excellent performances.”

“We suffered a harsh defeat against Siena and we had to win tonight. We played a tough game. There were many fouls, but we pulled through, capitalizing on rebounds and our game under the iron. We covered a lot of ground. We have to be constant. I had a good game, but many others on the team are doing well also and that’s why we’re having a good season.”
