President Florentino Perez gave a speech before bestowing, with Honorary President Alfredo di Stefano, the club's Gold & Diamond, Gold and Silver Insignias to Club Members who have been part of the entity for 60, 50 and 25 years, respectively.

"To live with passion one's fidelity to this club is a source of privilege and pride, and it sets a great example for future generations of Madridistas. Today is also special and emotional for me: I receive the 50 year insignia with great pride and responsibility."
