Cristiano Ronaldo has the best goal scoring average in Real Madrid history. His exceptional streak in the past week saw him net five strikes in two games. The Portuguese player has tallied 103 goals in 106 fixtures, netting 0.97 strikes on average per match and overtaking the legendary Puskas' mark.

Cristiano Ronaldo arrived at Real Madrid in the 2009/10 season looking to make history at the club and he is clearly living up to this challenge. He was the team's top scorer in his first season with 33 strikes: 26 in La Liga and 7 in the Champions League.

He surpassed these impressive numbers in his second year on the team tallying a total 49 goals, more than any other Madridista before him (Puskas had previously topped the ranking with 47 strikes in the 1959/60 season). He scored 40 of these goals in La Liga, becoming the championship's all-time top scorer in one campaign by breaking the 38-goal record previously held by Hugo Sanchez and Zarra. He also scored seven in the Copa del Rey and six in the Champions League.

It seems the sky's the limit for Ronaldo. He has already tallied 17 goals in the present season (13 in la Liga, 3 in the UCL, 1 in the Spanish Super Cup) in as many games.

Cristiano's amazing run at Real Madrid is even more impressive compared to the 0.4 goals he scored on average per clash during his six seasons at Manchester United. He made 292 appearances with the English team and netted 118 goals, only 15 more than his present tally at Real.
