Ricardo Carvalho rejoined the squad for the first training session of the week in preparation for Saturday's match against Getafe. Kaka, Lass, Callejon, Adan, Granero and the Portuguese defender were joined by the academy's Jesus, Mandi, Lucas, Merchan, Oscar Plano, Suarez, E. Paya and Molero.

Castilla coach Alberto Toril supervised the session with Jose Mourinho. The players did stretching exercises before dividing into two teams to do ball work. They did an exercise in which they couldn't touch the ball more than twice and worked on pressurising and creating ball work. Adan and Jesus trained with goalkeeper coach Silvino Louro.
