Real Madrid's victory over Zaragoza was Jose Mourinho's first 6-0 away victory in an official match. The win also allowed the Whites to be the first leaders in the league table this season. Mourinho has never lost the first match of any league championship he's coached in.
Mourinho has earned victories with six goals as a visitor twice before, both with Real Madrid. Valencia were defeated 6-3 on Matchday 33 last season after Real Madrid had won the Copa del Rey title at Mestalla. Higuain scored a hat-trick, Kaka a brace and Benzema netted the opener. Sevilla were defeated 6-2 at the Sanchez Pizjuan two weeks later. Ronaldo scored four goals and Kaka and Sergio Ramos one each.
