The Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League contenders have two grueling months in store

Realmadrid.com / Translation by Michael J. O'Donnell

Two months of official competition remain. Real Madrid have yet to play nine more league games, the Copa del Rey final and five Champions League enocunters. Excitement is paramount given what's at stake. The Whites had a spectacular run in March, winning all five games (four in La Liga, one in the UCL), and they could play up to nine games following the stoppage prompted by international games.

The Madridistas will play at least seven games in April: four in La Liga, the Copa del Rey final and the two legs of the Champions League quarterfinals against Tottenham United. If Real Madrid eliminate the English side, they will play the first leg of semifinals on 27 April at the Bernabeu, which would force them to face Zaragoza in Madrid on 30 April, as the return leg would take place on 3 May. In this case, Mourinho's men would play a match every three days.

In May, Real Madrid will face Sevilla and Villarreal away from home in La Liga. By reaching the UCL semis, they will have to play at either Camp Nou or Donbass Arena, where Shakhtar Donetsk haven't lost single official game since the stadium was inaugurated in the fall of 2009. They will face Getafe and Almeria at the Bernabeu; they will play their last league game agains the latter. The Champions League final is scheduled for 28 May; if they reach this far, it will be Real Madrid's final encounter of the season.
