Several FIFA Technical Directors and youth team coaches from the US, Japan, Azerbaijan, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Moldavia, Georgia, Macedonia, Armenia and Belarus visited Real Madrid City as part of the week-long activities plan organised by the Spanish FA.
Real Madrid was chosen by the Spanish FA as a great example to show the FIFA delegation how football works in Spain. Following the visit to Valdebebas, they will visit the Bernabeu and attend a lecture by Real Madrid Formation Director Alberto Gil in Las Rozas.
The visitors saw the gym, the several meeting rooms, the dressing room, the TEC High Performance Centre and watched the first team's training session. "Every area of the Club was taken into account when Real Madrid City was designed," explained Gil, "Each department made its own design and then the Club adapted it to its own possibilities. The workers here know their own working area better than anyone else."
Following the thrill of attending the team's training session, the delegation posed next to some of the Club's trophies located at Valedebebas.
"Real Madrid sets a great example for all these people," said Spanish FA Coach School and Committee Secretary Oscar Calleja, "The Club's facilities are spectacular. Our guests are astonished."
