Casillas, Guti, Granero, Arbeloa and Ramos expressed their thoughts after being knocked out of the Champions League.
Casillas:
"We are upset but need to remain calm. We need to be prudent. Over the next few days we will assess what has happened this season, but from here on out we need to focus on La Liga."
Guti:
"Being eliminated hurts every time, and this one a little more than the rest. Now all we can do is think about La Liga."
Granero:
"We started off well and had several chances to play a comfortable second half, but it wasn't enough. We need to win La Liga in whatever way possible. We need it for our fans."
Arbeloa:
"We could have scored as many as three goals in the first half, but we weren't able to finish off shots. We fell to an inferior team, which makes it more painful than ever. We are a team so we are all at fault. We lacked a bit of unity and aggessiveness. We feel like we didn't show up in the second half."
Ramos:
"It isn't a matter of blaming the coach or a player. There are many ways of looking at it, but we are all responsible. We are saddened by being eliminated and because it was a tough day, but we need to stay strong so that it doesn't affect us."
