Ettore Messina was happy with his team's victory against DKV Joventut in the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey.

"Both teams played a great game. The pace to the clash was very high, which is strange in this sort of encounter. I wish to congratulate my men for the great work they did all week during our practice sessions."

"We defended well against shots from outside the perimeter, which is what DKV are best at. This resulted in us allowing them to score easy shots from inside, but we nevertheless achieved our goal. We moved the ball well in offence while looking for good shooting positions."

"Sergio has benefitted from the work he's done in recent years and from playing in last year's Eurobasket with Spain. He is always ready to learn more and his attitude is great."

"Tomorrow's game against Caja Laboral will be tough and even. They always play with intensity in defence and I think they've hardly been affected by the absence of Splitter."
