Severiano Ballesteros was honored on Wednesday during the 12th edition of the Marca Forum, which was attended by Real Madrid's Iker Casillas and Jos María Gutiérrez, “Guti”.
Arguably the best Spanish golfer ever, Severiano Ballesteros was honored during the Marca Sports Forum on Wednesday. The former world number one and two-time Masters winner has become an example of overcoming the odds, committment and strength after recovering from a brain tumor.
"I would love to play a Pro-Am with Casillas and Zidane," said Seve, who also had words for Real Madrid, who "have found the style they always played with which has allowed them to pour the heat on Barcelona.
Ballesteros also commented on the club's recent signing, Sergio Canales. "Only someone with a lot of class can do what he has done and score such incredible goals. He has a lot of time to imrpove, but it is obvious that Madrid comes out ahead with him on their side," added the golfer.
