Real Madrid basketball sponsor, MMT Seguros supports sports as an alternative to drugs in Senegal

Real Madrid basketball’s primary sponsor, MMT Seguros collaborated with PLAN España and PLAN Senegal on an initiative that helps kids say ‘no’ to drugs through sports.

MMT Seguros visited Thiaroye, a town near the Senegalese capital of Dakar, to donate a hefty amount of official Real Madrid basketball uniforms to the Jaques Chirac Center for Drug Awareness and Information that has been helping children since 1997.

The initiative couldn’t have taken place without the support and commitment of all MMT Seguros employees. “It is an honor for MMT Seguros to see first hand how so little means so much for these youngsters and we want to continue helping meet the Center’s needs through basketball,” said Miguel Angel Sanchez, MMT’s Manager of Sales and Marketing.

MMT Seguros has been linked to basketball since 2003 and is now the primary sponsor of Real Madrid. For three years now it has fielded a team that runs in Madrid’s half marathon and it also sponsors the Pepe World motorcycle team.
