Manuel pellegrini has stayed true to his methods despite the sporadic criticism received. With 2009 winding down, it is clear that the coach's work has paid off. No need to look any farther than where the team stands and the football it has played in the last two months. Pellegrini “hopes we all have a great 2010” with the New Year only days away.
Real Madrid are currently second in the table, two points off the lead and the highest scoring team with 40 goals, all of which come with visits to the most difficult venues in La Liga. Being the optimist that Pellegrini is, the Madridista coach hopes that “our wish of winning the Champions League in the Bernabeu comes true. Happy New Year to you all.”
