Real Madrid trained on Field 2 at Valdebebas on Thursday to continue preparing for their next league match against Racing Santander. The eighth first team players on hand were joined by academy members Szalai and Luis Hernandez.

Raul, Metzelder, Guti, Granero, Garay, Marcelo, Adan and Dudek were the only eight player to train at Valdebebas on Thursday. Youth teamers Luis Hernandez and Adam Szalai joined in once the first team members finished their warmup jog. Following the team chat led by Manuel Pellegrini, Royston Drenthe made his way to the gym and was followed by Van Nistelrooy,  Cristiano Ronaldo and Diarra.

Several strength training drills later gave way to ball work, which focused on quick combinations and one-touch passing. Adan and Dudek, meanwhile, trained with goalkeeper coach Xavier Mancisidor. The Whites will be back at work on Friday at 10:30 CET.
