Academy players Granero and Agus made their Santiago Bernabeu debut against Al Ittihad.
Granero
"We all wanted to win. I would have loved it in my Bernabeu debut, but we shouldn't worry about it. This is the preseason and everything has just started. We'll gradually get into shape and grow used to playing games. I was unlucky with my shot on goal. I thought it was going in. I'm going to fight to have a spot on the stating 11, but it won't be easy because there are great players on the team. I'm going to give my all to convince the coach. Playing at this stadium wearing this shirt is everybody's dream, and it is particularly special for an academy player. This is the happiest day of my life."
Agus
"This is a great day for me because I made my debut at the Bernabeu after being at the Club for four years. This is what I've been waiting for. I think people like the academy and they are happy with our presence on the squad, but all of us, youth teamers and others alike, form a team. It's a shame that I came on for an injured player, but you have to be ready to help the team whenever it needs you."
"I would have liked to win in my debut, but we shouldn't worry about it. This is the start of the preseason. It is never easy for footballers to play a preseason match. I think the fans had fun and we hope to make them enjoy themselves even more on Tuesday."
