Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the icons of the new Real Madrid, made his Santiago Bernabeu debut against Al Ittihad.
Cristiano Ronaldo has said countless times that signing for Real Madrid is a dream come true. Tonight, 26 July 2009, he made his debut as a Madridista at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
Despite not being 100% in form, the Portuguese player had many chances to score against Saudi side Al Ittihad. He combined passes with both Benzema and Raul and played throughout the entire first half. His mother, Dolores, always dreamt of seeing him play at the White Colosseum; tonight, she too saw her lifelong dream come true.
