Real Madrid head to Ireland this afternoon, where they will stay at the Carton House Hotel in Maynooth for the next ten days. On Monday 20 July the Whites are scheduled to play against Shamrock Rovers.

Real Madrid leave Barajas at 18:00 on charter PVG 7995 and are scheduled to arrive in Dublin at 19:40 local time. The team will stay at the Carton House Hotel in the town of Maynooth. There will be little time for R&R as the players are expected to be awake by 7:00 am each day and at breakfast by 7:15.

Workouts will begin at 8:00 with morning sessions focusing on fitness, while sessions starting at 11:30 will be used for strength training.

A player or member of the coaching staff will offer a daily press conference at 13:00 and lunch will begin half hour later. Players will then have time to relax before their scheduled 18:30 workout, comprised of technical, tactical and fitness work. One afternoon session will be used to watch video on their 20 July opponent.

The final four days will not include the 8:00 session, thus leaving the 10:00 workout as the only morning practice. On 20 July the Whites square off against Shamrock Rovers in what will be the first chance for Madridistas to see the new look Real Madrid in action. 

The Madridista expedition returns to Madrid on 22 July to continue preseason preparations and to participate in the Peace Cup.
