Eusebio da Silva Ferreira, perhaps the best Portuguese player of all time, will be on hand for the presentation of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Benfica legend praised the new Madridista and assured that “he will make a lot of people happy.” Ronaldo sat down to lunch with Eusebio and former Madridistas including  Amancio, Zoco, Santamaría, Pachin, Butragueño and Honorary President, Don Alfredo di Stefano.

Eusebio on Ronaldo:
"It’s an honor to be here for the Cristiano Ronaldo’s presentation. He is a good friend and a player who I really admire. He is joining the best team in Spain."

"It’s the first time the world has seen anything like this and having people show up like this to see him is expected. It’s important that he play here because he will be treated well. He is going to make a lot of people happy."

"Iker Casillas and Raul, the captain, are going to help Cristiano Ronaldo a lot, just like they did with Figo. He is going to help Real Madrid win the European Cup and La Liga. Winning a championship is hard, but I think they can do it."

Eusebio on Alfredo di Stefano:
"He is a lifelong friend. He is a great man and I learned a lot from him. He was the most complete player of all time."
