"I was familiar with the visitor's dressing room, not this one," said Kaka as he first entered the Real Madrid dressing room. "They are very similar," we said, but the Brazilian, who already feels at home, contradicted the statement by saying "No, this one is bigger and better."
Kaka sat through an intense photo session for Realmadrid.com 15 minutes before his official presentation. After meticulously hanging up his clothes, Kaka took his time as he donned his new kit.
Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and Jorge Valdano then appeared to greet the player, the lattter commenting, "It looks good on you." Kaka smiled and responded, "I love the new crest. I was told that it's a tribute to the stadium." Running his finger over the letters, the Brazilian added, "Bellisimo, just like the dressing room."
While waiting to head onto the pitch, Kaka looked at the photos of his future teammates. He had words for each one of them, and when he came to Marcelo's, Kaka threw in, "We call him Marcelino."
