The official store at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium opened at 9:30 and many fans were already there waiting to purchase the team's new shirt. Julyvick, a fan from Venezuela, was the first to get one before catching a plane back to her home country.
"It's for my brother. He said I had to get him one before catching my 13:00 flight. I love it. My favourite features are the new stadium crest and the collar."
"People are delighted," says Ana Alonso, manager of all Adidas stores in the Spanish capital, "Fans have been asking about the release date for weeks. The goalkeeper's shirt is also very popular. People love it."
