Vicente Boluda, shipowner born in Valencia on 31 March 1955, has been a Real Madrid Club Member since 1998 (no. 47,936). He became the entity's President on 16 January 2009. Boluda has a degree in Law and is a graduate of Jurisprudence. He also has several Masters in Martime Law and is the President of Corporación Marítima Boluda, the most important private shipping company in Spain and the second most prominent ship towing company in the world.

Boluda is a member of several Academies and Associations (Academia Española de Jurisprudencia y Legislación, Asociación de Navieros Españoles, Propeller Club Valencia) and is the President of the Asociación Nacional de Armadores de Remolcadores (ANARE), of Terminales Marítimas del Sureste (TMS) and of the Special Traffic Commission ANAVE.

He is currently First Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Valencia; Vice-President of the the Spanish Association of Shipowners ANAVE; and Outstanding Member of the Superior Council of Chambers of Commerce.

Boluda is Advisor to the Commission of the Fundación Estudios Avanzados; as well as to the Autonomous Harbour of Valencia and Alicante's Theme Park. He is a Patron of the Fundación Puerto de Las Palmas; Director-Advisor to Britannia P & I London; and Patron of the Fundación Marca de Garantía Puerto de Valencia.

He has also been Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Defence and a specialised agent in maritime insurance.

Prior to becoming President of Real Madrid, he became the entity's Vice-President on 4 July 2006.
