The elimination from the King's Cup was a harsh blow to the team, but Iker Casillas insists the squad is united and stood by coach Bernd Schuster.
"The elimination deeply hurt the Club. But we are united and grateful for the Club's support. The positive side of this is that it can help us be stronger in the remaining competitions."
"None of our meetings are tense. We just get together to solve our problems. What we said will stay between us despite all the rumours. I think these meetings are very positive; they help the squad come closer together."
"I guess the meeting between Raúl and the President will be as all the rest they've had. You shouldn't make too much of it. People talk more about it because this is Real Madrid, that's all."
"The players support Schuster. The coach has brought a new mentality to the team and we will always support him."
"We won two consecutive league titles after a three-year title drought. I understand the fans for being hurt by the elimination, but so are we. We always say we'll have to analyse the season once it's over. Only if things don't work out should you try and put the blame on someone, but the season is far from over at the moment."
"Ruud's injury is a real shame and so is Rubén's convalesence. We currently sustain serious injuries, but we'll have to pull through somehow."
