Spain captain Iker Casillas broke two records in his 86th international match with Spain. He and Pepe Reina have managed to stay undefeated longer than the Andoni Zubizarreta and Paco Buyo partnership.
Future goalkeepers on the Spanish team have new records to beat, now that Iker Casillas and Pepe Reina have been undefeated for 710 minutes. Spain haven't conceded any goals since their 18 June 2008 clash with Greece.
Iker Casillas has been between the post in 643 of those 710 minutes, while Reina has enjoyed 63 minutes of playing time. Iker also managed to break his own personal record, standing undefeated for 610 minutes.
