Ricardo Zamnora happened to be the coach who gave Vicente Traín the chance of making his debut in the First Division back in 1955. He played for Real Madrid for five years, winning four league titles, one Cup of Spain and the Zamora Trophy. He was runner-up in the European Cup twice with the Whites and was an international for Spain. He is a close friend of Alfredo di Stéfano and an honourary member of the Club's Association of Veterans.
