Group C

Group C is by far the most challenging of the four and contains none other than the last two World Cup finalists, Italy and France. Netherlands will have to play their hearts out to finish on the top half of the group, with the permission, of course, of Romania, who hope to make a lot of noise come 9 June. Group C matches will be hosted by Letzigrund Stadium in Zurich and Stade de Suisse in Berne. Real Madrid is well-represented on the Dutch side by Robben, Sneijder, and Van Nistelrooy. Unfortunately for another Madridista, Fabio Cannavaro, his Euro came to a quick end after injuring his left ankle during a training session with Italy.
