Real Madrid has added Jeremiah Massey to its roster after picking up the former Kansas State University power forward from Aris BC.
Massey averaged 17 ppg, 8.4 rpg, and 21 peformance points in last year's Euroleague. He was selected 5th in the 2005 USBL draft before joining AEL GS Larisa for the 2005/06 season. A strong season which included being the top rebounder in the Greek league was followed by a move to Aris, where Massey has spent the last two seasons and become one of the best players in Euroleague action.
Alberto Herreros on Massey:
“He's a complete player. He can be extremely productive on offense, he is solid on defense, he's a strong rebounder, and a great team player. He's got an enviable physique and joins Real Madrid after a great season with Aris in the Euroleague, during which he was selected as 'Player of the Week' several times. We are very happy to have him. We know he received a handful of offers, but he decided to play for Real Madrid.”
