The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium witnessed a very special event on Thursday when Real Madrid and Adidas inaugurated a new sporting goods store. The three floors hold countless merchandise and gear for all ranges of sports 'aficionados'.

The new Real Madrid-Adidas store at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is the world's biggest store belonging a football team Three floors where Real Madrid fans can purchase official team gear as well as other products by Adidas, a world leader in sporting goods. The inauguration was hosted by Nacho Aranda and attended by distinguished Madridistas like Fernando Hierro, Alberto Herreros, Ricardo Gallego, Quique Villalobos, track and field star Alberto García, and coach and player of Ciudad Real, European handball champions, Talant Duishebaev. Joining President Ramón Calderón were Club Vice President Juan Mendoza and Francisco Moreno-Cariñena, President of Real Madrid Castilla.

But the guests of honour were the two Real Madrid footballer and two Real Madrid basketballer players: Raúl, Diarrá, Louis Bullock and Felipe Reyes. The act began with a presentation by Nacho Aranda, who spoke about the store and the current 'high' Real Madrid is experiencing. Aranda then gave the floor to the Presidents of Real Madrid and Adidas Spain, Ramón Calderón and Alain Brouhard, respectively, who officially opened the store with the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony.

A special gift
Four children -two girls and two boys- benefitted the most from the ceremony. Four very special people, the four Real Madrid players, presented each child with an official autographed team shirt. Calderón encouraged the girls to play football and to support “next year's women's football section of the Club.”

Ramón Calderón had a few more words before the official group photo was taken. "We have done lots of great things in very little time. The basketball team is off to its best start ever, with 15,000 fans filling the Vistalegre to support them and cheer them on. And the team is just getting started. In football, unthinkable things are happening. We are in the hunt for every title and it will be a great year for Madridistas. We will be at La Cibeles, and both the football and basketball team will climb the foundation, with the Mayor's permission, of course."

Store details
The new store consists of 1,500 m² of usable space, divided into three floors, inside the actual Stadium, with its entrance by Door 55 on Padre Damián Street in Madrid. The widest range of Adidas sports gear will be on display, as well as all official products of Real Madrid. Athletes of all kinds and Madridista fans will be able to find everything they need to play their favourite sport or support their favourite team.

The three floors are divided in the following manner:
Bottom level (Official Real Madrid merchandise): Halamadrid products, baby toys and accessories, jewelry & watches, leather goods, PC multimedia.

Ground level (Official Adidas & Real Madrid products): Real Madrid kit, Real Madrid training gear, Real Madrid casualwear, Real Madrid accessories, Spanish FA products.

Upper level (Adidas sporting gear): Mens Running, Tennis, Basketball, Swin, Training, Casual, Footwear; Womens Running, Tennis, Swin, Training, Gym, Casual, Footwear; Kids; Adidas Originals; area for personalisation of shirts.
