Manuel Pellegrini talked to the media about tomorrow's crucial game in Malaga.
"I don't know who might have a feeling of this being over alrerady. When we lost against Barcelona we said we had seven more games to win and, so far, the team has done so."
"Barcelona will be champions if they take 99 points. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Nothing is for certain in football."
"This season has been complicated because there were great expectations set on this new project. We've fought to the very end in La Liga against whom some consider to be the best team in the world. We've broken several records and earned great numbers that are hard to beat. The team has always done its best and has managed to score more than 100 goals."
"I am proud of my men for fighting to the very end. I know there are things we have to improve on in the future, but I'm satisfied because my team has always responded."
"Everyone makes mistakes, and I've made some. If I don't happen to stay on next year at least I will always have the feeling of having tried to achieve the goals the Club sets for itself. I don't believe the Club will have a different evaluation of the year if Valladolid manage to draw the game and we win the title. I am aware of the virtues and faults this team has."
"Barcelona are the best team in the world, which adds merit to what we've done this year. The difference between both sides is minimal. They won the title last year three or four weeks before the end of the season, unlike this year. Continuity will allow us to surpass the difference between us in time."
"We will logically have part of our minds set on what Barcelona do, but my men have shown they can adapt to any circumstance. We'll focus on defeating Malaga first and then see what happens in Barcelona."
