Fifteen members of the Schools for Peace in Israel and Palestine are visiting Real Madrid this weekend as guests of the club’s Foundation.
Over the next few days, thirteen children and two chaperones will have the chance to go on the Stadium Tour, visit Valdebebas and attend the Real Madrid-Sevilla match. “This is my first trip to Madrid and I am very happy. Raul is my favorite player because I am also a forward,” said one of the children.
The group was received by Emilio Butragueño, who showed them the First Team dressing room where the children took photos next to the lockers of their favorite players. “Their behavior is admirable. A football always makes things easier,” pointed out the Director of Institutional Relations, “We must congratulate the Foundation for its hard work and commitment. Using sport as an educational tool is so simple.”
