Cristiano Ronaldo tops the 2012 Golden Boot ranking with 24 goals and 48 points, followed by Estonian player Cekulajevs, who scored 46 in his country's league and earned 46 points. Goals in la Liga are worth two points, as opposed to just one in Estonia.
Ronaldo won the Golden Boot award in 2008 and 2011, earning the latter thanks to establishing a new record of goals in the Spanish championship.
Cristiano has a chance to become the first player to win the trophy three times, overtaking legends such as Muller and Eusebio.
Real Madrid are also the only team with two strikers amongst the ranking's top 15 scorers.
