Higuain, Di Maria and Gago were starters in Argentina's 3-0 victory over Costa Rica. Di Maria scored the team's third goal in a victory that sealed the team's pass to the quarterfinals of the Copa America. Argentina will face either Chile, Uruguay or Peru in the next round.
Fernando Gago was one of the best men in the match, playing a key role in midfield; a clearance of one of his shots eventually resulted in Aguero's first strike.
Higuain proved dangerous with his speed the 79 minutes he was on the pitch. Di Maria played for as long as his Real Madrid teammate and scored the third and final goal of the evening from a shot that grazed the post.
