Youth teamer Marcos Alonso makes the cut; Kaka, Diarra, Benzema, Drenthe and Pepe out

Manuel Pellegrini has called up youth teamer Marcos Alonso to replace the injured Diarra to face Sporting Gijon tomorrow. Despite having recovered from his pubalgia, Karim Benzema will miss the game because it has been decided he is not quite ready to play yet. The injured Kaka, Drenthe, Diarra and Pepe will also miss the match.
