Raul Gonzalez Blanco played his 700th game with Real Madrid tonight and shared his view on it with the media.

"There was much at stake for Villarreal and the team's mentality was different. We fought hard and worked for a victory till the end. It's a shame we didn't win, but we have to accept it."

"I am happy about having played 700 games with Real Madrid. It was something unimaginable when I started out, but I've managed it thanks to the confidence the Club and every coach have had in me. I guess my first game stands out more for me because without it the rest wouldn't have happened."
