Darjus Lavrinovic signed his one-year contract with Real Madrid in the Board Room of the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. He was accompanied by Director General Jorge Valdano and Basketball Section Director Antonio Maceiras. The agreement provides a unilateral option for the Club to extend the player's contract for one more year at the end of the campaign.

Lavrinovic arrived at the stadium at 12:00 pm with members of his family. He visited the facilities and the Club's offices, and also chatted with Jorge Valdano and Antonio Maceiras prior to signing his contract in the presence of Basketball Honorary President Emiliano Rodriguez. The player received a stylographic pen and a replica of the stadium.
