Real Madrid and the Utah Jazz played an exhibition game on 8 October at the Palacio de los Deportes in Madrid as part of the NBA Europe Live 2009 Tour. The Jazz were also scheduled to play the Chicago Bulls in London a few days earlier. It's the fourth time an NBA team played in the Spanish capital. The first was during the 1988 Mcdonald’s Open; the last a Real Madrid win against the Toronto Raptors in 2007.
