The fesitivies of 11 July began with a goal, continued long after the final whistle and culminated with Iker Casillas raising the World Cup trophy into the night sky in Johannesburg. But there was much more of Spain’s celebration that fans didn’t get to see. The Soccer City dressing room was wrought with emotion as seen in exclusive pictures of Casillas, Ramos, Xabi Alonso, Arbeloa and Albiol, five Madridistas who represented Real Madrid on Spain’s 23-man World Cup roster. But the celebrations didn’t end there, and once back on Spanish soil, hundreds of thousands of fans lined the streets of Madrid for a ticker-tape parade in honor of the world champions, who ended the night with a team dinner.
