Toronto FC's four-time All-Star, Dwayne De Rosario is looking forward to the challenge of playing Real Madrid on Friday.
"These games are special for us here in Canada to showcase our talents against a world giant like Real Madrid. The game will be open and hopefully it will be a good football match for the fans to see. I'm looking at it as an opportunity for people to showcase Toronto FC and MLS and we will try to do that to the best of our ability."
"Players can be in awe, but hopefully they will come out to prove themselves and just concentrate on their own game. Obviously it will be a great atmosphere and it is great to play against some of the guys you look up to on T.V. and have been role models. I'm looking forward to seeing how they do and hope they step up and do well."
"I'm just looking forward to being on the same pitch as a team like Madrid. It is a world renowned club with a lot of history that has achieved so much success. Obviously with their new signings and the amount of money they have spent it is a team that the whole world wants to see. It will be nice to play against them but I am going out there to showcase my talents as well. Hopefully we can come out with a positive result and put the midweek defeat behind us."
