Meet all Real Madrid's signings for 2009/10

Real Madrid 2009/10 is under way. After Florentino Perez was appointed President on 1 June, the first new member of next season's first team was Manuel Pellegrini, who inked a two-year deal as head coach. Director General and Presidential Aide, Jorge Valdano, Sporting Director, Miguel Pardeza and the Chilean skipper agree that a team that can compete for every title in play is needed. Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos, more commonly referred to as Kaka, was the first new player acquired and signed a six-year contract with Real Madrid. The second to join the Madridista family was Raul Albiol, who will remained linked to the Whites for five seasons. On 26 June, Real Madrid and Manchester United made official the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo as of 1 July. The Portuguese super star will remain a Madridista for the next six seasons. The next player announced was the French striker Karim Benzema, who also inked a six-year deal.
