Good news for Real Madrid as the internationals gradually rejoin the squad. Casillas, Albiol, Arbeloa, Sergio Ramos, Xabi Alonso, Varane and Benzema returned for today's session. Marcelo and Granero worked with their teammates having done specific recovery exercises yesterday. Seven academy players joined the first team.
The players divided into three groups. The first comprised Casillas, Arbeloa, Albiol, Sergio Ramos, Xabi Alonso, Benzema and Marcelo and they all tackled stretching and recovery exercises.
The second was the rest of the squad plus Castilla's Carvajal, Morata, Nacho, Alex, Joselu and Ivan Gonzalez. They did warm-up exercises under the supervision of fitness trainer Rui Faria with increasing intensity. The outfield players divided into two groups to work on changes in pace and on creating ball movement in reduced spaces.
Adan and Jesus formed the third group and trained with goalkeeper coach Silvino Louro with and without the ball.
