With eleven men away on international duty, the best news was seeing Arjen Robben doing ball work again just two weeks after his injury. Ten men trained on the pitch while Codina stayed in the gym recovering from his performance in yesterday's Match Against Poverty.
Higuaín, Salgado, Saviola, Raúl, Guti and Javi García worked under the supervision of fitness trainer Jordi García and recovery expert Santi Lozano. They jogged, did some stretching exercises and ednded the session with some workouts in the gym. Meanwhile, Dudek trained with keeper coach Pedro Jaro.
Robben and Metzelder
As mentioned above, Arjen Robben trained outdoors wearing a bandage on his right leg. The player seems to be recovering well from the Grade II muscle tear on the right soleus. He also jogged and did some ball work with Metzelder, always supervised by recovery expert Carlos Lalín.
