Real Madrid

Nole Velickovic is currently with the Serbian national team in Germany preparing for the Eurobasket, but he took some time out to share his happiness for extending his contract with Real Madrid.

"It was easy to reach a deal because I've always wanted to stay at Real Madrid and I'm happy to extend my contract two more years. I like this club, I have many friends here and I also love the city and everything that's got anything to do with this team."

"Many things will change this year and I like that. I wasn't at my best last season and I want to change that. I believe I can play at Real Madrid and that I can become a good player for this club. Fans will see the Velickovic of earlier days. I only know how to play from the heart. I'm sure we will win something this year if we all play like that."

"I know Pablo Laso from when he coached Lagun Aro. He told me he wanted me on his team and that he wants me to play as a number '4' player. I like that we communicate well. That's very important to me."
