Felipe Reyes is on the verge of closing out his best season since making his ACB debut at the age of 19.
Real Madrid's captain joined the squad five seasons ago and won the ACB title in his first year as a Madridista. Later in 2006/07 Reyes guided the Whites to another ACB championship and the ULEB Cup. He was also a member of the 2006 world champion Spanish national team and the silver medal-winning squad in the 2008 Olympic Games.
Reyes has played 29 games this year and is averaging 28 minutes, 16 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and five fouls received per encounter. He is currently the sixth highest scorer, has scored the most field goals, is the second best rebounder and leads the league in performance points. He has been named the ACB's MVP of the Week on four occasions and was voted October's best player.
