Real Madrid captain Felipe Reyes lifted the team's 23rd Copa del Rey title on Sunday after becoming the leading rebounder in the history of the champinship. He is the third most valued player in the tournament and the fifth best player at scoring two-pointers.
Reyes performance in the quarterfinals clash with Fuenlabrada was impressive, scoring 17 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. He made a great contribution to Real Madrid's collective game, which eventually allowed them to win the titlle for the first time in 19 years. It was also Reyes' second Copa del Rey title.
The centre tops the all-time rebounder ranking in the tournament with 162 grabs, averaging 7.36 per clash. He is also the top rebounder both in offence (97) and defence (65), and the most valued player in the championship behind legends Arlauckas and Villacampa. He is one of the five best dunkers (11 in 22 games) and the fifth best two-pointer scorer (53.97% success rate).
