Four Real Madrid players earned Man of the Match honours in the Euro 2012 quarterfinals and semifinals. Cristiano Ronaldo did so against the Czech Republic, Ozil against Greece, Xabi Alonso against France and Sergio Ramos against Portugal.
Decisive games are those in which good players truly shine; Madridistas stood out in the group stage, but truly shone in the quarterfinals and the semis.
Against the Czech Republic, Cristiano Ronaldo netted the header that qualified Portugal for the semis, while Ozil proved to be the mastermind in Germany's 4-2 win over Greece in the quarterfinals. Alonso netted a brace in the clash with France, which also marked his 100th cap with Spain, while Ramos gave a stellar performance and netted a penalty Panenka-style in the semis against Portugal.
