Portugal earned their first victory in the Euro 2012 by defeating Denmark 3-2 in the second game of the group stage. Both sides had several chances to win, but the Portuguese won in the end with goals from Pepe, Helder Postiga and Varela. Portugal is still in the fight to make it past the group stage.
