"We were anxious to win this title. We should have had a two-goal lead by half-time given our excellent performance in the first part. Barcelona were brilliant in the last 45 minutes. You have to realise it is technically very difficult to stop them. Extra time was intense and Cristiano's goal made us very happy. The match didn't let anyone down and it will be hard to forget."
