Real Madrid haven't dropped any points in Madrid derbies since 2009, when they drew 1-1 against Atletico Madrid in Week 26 of the 2008/09 campaign. They've since won all 13 derbies against Atletico, Getafe and Rayo Vallecano, whom they'll face on Sunday at 16:00 CET.
This solid run began in Week 32 of the 2008/09 season with a 3-2 win over Getafe at the Santiago Bernabeu; the Whites have faced them seven times since winning all their encounters (four at the Bernabeu, three at the Coliseum). Atletico have also been defeated in their last five league meetings, while Rayo lost at the Bernabeu earlier this season soon after returning to the First Division.
Real Madrid have teallied 41 strikes in these derbies, conceding only 16. Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain are the top scorers in these clashes with 13 and 11 goals each. Real also happen to shower their neighbors with goals on occasion, as proven by the 6-2 and 4-1 home victories over Rayo and Atletico this season, and the 4-0 win at the Bernabeu over Getafe last year.
